After a 10-year hiatus Cotswold Marquees is thrilled to be back at The Showman’s Show in 2024 and look forward to meeting both current and new clients. Cotswold Marquees has been hiring since 1987 and fabricating its own covers and linings for over 20 years now, including creating bespoke items to complement both its hire stock and clients nationwide.

The manufacturing side of the business has grown organically over the years as hirers have asked Cotswold to make, repair and re-keder their covers leading to the expansion of the service.

Its roof and wall covers are available for both frame and traditional marquees, along with pano windows, gutters, infills etc. It recently delivered a 40ft x 120ft traditional using Ferrari’s textured PVC.

Whilst marquee covers are generally made from PVC, canvas is having something of a renaissance and for some, the look and smell of canvas is appealing and there remains a demand for it.

With the installation of a 18m Fiab track welder in its new building, along with four existing Radyne welders, it has dramatically increased its capacity to deliver. As an add-on to its repair service, the company has a workshop producing metal components for frame marquees. Supplying curved 3m roof beams adds to the versatility of the frames.

The lining department manufactures ivory and coloured Trevera, along with printed linings for any structure. In addition, it also repairs and manufactures of Starcloths. The lining range covers any requirement for the internal decoration of a marquee, including flat and pleated roofs, walls, overlays, valance as well as starcloth (both LED & Fibre optic). Other items like leg wraps, gutter covers and window walls are also in its remit.

Cotwold’s manufacturing staff have all worked within the marquee hire sector for many years, which has given them an invaluable understanding of the industry. The company will be displaying a 12m x 12m curved clearspan structure at The Showman’s Show with new printed linings that follow the curve, because what is the point of putting an apex lining in a curved structure? The complete structure will be for sale to one lucky new owner.
