This year is special to IDE, who will be celebrating 30 years at The Showman’s Show! That’s 30 years of manufacturing temporary power products, 30 years of experience working with various sectors such as events, festivals, and construction sites as well as driving forward innovative ideas to help customers reduce their carbon emissions onsite.

IDE has progressed significantly over the 30 years, and became part of Sdiptech in 2021 which provides value to customers in the infrastructure sector by offering high-quality technologies, solutions, and services to both the public and private sectors, primarily in Europe.

The company currently has over 70 staff members, a head office and manufacturing centre in Cannock and three rental depots based in significant areas in the UK. It has provided temporary power products to large sporting events internationally and has customers all around the world within various sectors.

It has put together a fantastic team that continuously learn new skills and refresh existing ones to ensure it creates quality products and provide the best service to our customers. IDE is known for creating innovative products such as Erica, its energy management system that can monitor and control power onsite, this product can save carbon emissions and reduce costs.

Due to the rise of electric vehicles, its manufacture electric vehicle chargers for the temporary power market, making charging an EV more accessible at events, festivals, on a film and tv production set or on a construction site.
