The Future of Festival Sustainability explores a standardised UK-wide ‘Green Events Code’ for Sustainable Event Summit delegate feedback. Chaired by Paul Reed, Association of Independent Festivals CEO, who alongside Vision: 2025 has championed the Green Code since its inception. Panel guests share what policies and frameworks are available and explore how the industry can move forward together - with Chris Johnson, Chair of Event Vision:2025 and co-founder of Shambala Festival; Cathy Runciman, Executive Director of EarthPercent UK, the charity co-founded by Brian Eno to unleash the power of music in service of the planet and Helen Thackeray, Events Manager at Hull City Council & Chair of LAEOG.
