The Rig is an interactive installation combining percussion, musical exploration, creativity and adventure and will be showcased at The Showman’s Show 2024.

Created in 2013 The Rig has been designed by professional musicians and artists and has constantly expanded over the years as a unique musical soundscape with an exciting visual impact. Aimed at kids and their families, The Rig is accessible and easy to play.

Team Rig is our family of passionate, fun and friendly musicians who host The Rig and love to share its sonic secrets with you!

The Rig is available for festivals, family days, town centre events and more, setting up its upcycled, musical playground for all to enjoy. The Rigs are as visually interesting as they are musical, creating a vintage summer fete feel whilst educating families on upcycling - all whilst creating brilliant sounds! Once set up, the Rig is a free-play zone for families to explore together. With varying sizes of structures to suit any event type, including the “Rhythm Rig”, “Bells Rig”, “Hooter Tree” and Victorian bath, and can add an Arts and Crafts zone to make your own instruments with recycled objects.
