The Showman’s Show will welcome the Trestle Table Company to Newbury Showground for the first time in 2023. The idea for the business was born out of a simple motivation - to make the best wooden trestle tables available to buy.

The Trestle Table Company is a family-owned and family-run business with big ambitions.

Its owners, James and Nick, have backgrounds both within the events industry and within the manufacturing and commercial sectors, so understand what customers expect. Their objective is to exceed expectations, as repeat business and returning custom is very important to them.

The company’s workshop is located in the beautiful Ribble Valley in rural Lancashire in Northwest England and all the products it sells are made by the team.

Product design and manufacturing processes always begin with function first. The tables and seating are suitable for a wide range of settings and uses, are hard wearing, robust and particularly the folding trestle tables and benches, easy to store and versatile.

The furniture is ideal for both residential and commercial settings, and the trajectory of the company’s sales is testament to the quality, value, and demand for the products that it makes.

The new timber used is sustainably sourced from FSC and PEFC plantations and scaffold boards are sourced from local suppliers and chosen for their unique character and qualities.  Each length of timber used has led a life of its own, so adds to the story of the finished product. No two tables are alike - the antithesis of mass-produced, flat-packed, MDF-based 'wooden' furniture.

The team is thrilled to be attending this year’s Showman's Show and will be bringing along examples of its core products. They are looking forward to meeting as many show attendees as possible, showing their products, speaking about them and sharing their enthusiasm for what they do with them.
