TTF LTD specialise in high frequency, ultrasonic and heat welding equipment for sealing flexible plastics, including tensile structures. The company will be exhibiting at The Showman’s Show for the first time this October, launching a new high frequency welding machine for smaller applications at this year’s Showman’s Show. This will be the first UK built and designed welding machine in around 18 years.

The TTF treadle operated static high frequency welding machine features a substantial welding head powered by a highly efficient generator. It has been designed and developed in the UK for a high degree of flexibility and also taking ease of operation into account. The machine is predominantly used for the welding of PVC or PU materials in the stationery, medical, tarpaulin and automotive industries. It is fitted with a pneumatic cylinder; this means the operator does not have to force the pedal down causing potential RSI issues. The pneumatic press is activated using an electric foot pedal.

Once the tool is in place the two start buttons are pressed to activate the weld cycle, if the electric foot pedal is released the cycle will stop. During the movement of the press the press movement is under low-pressure, high-pressure kicks in once the two start buttons are pressed, this is for safety reasons.
